Mr. Robert Lavoie

Beloved husband for 53 years of Anne M. (Barbuto) Lavoie. Son of the late Robert J. Lavoie and Ruth M. (Shaughnessy) Lavoie. Loving brother of Jeanne Tropeano and her late husband Tony of Hull and Debbie and her husband Cliff Garston of Plymouth. Brother-in-law of Stephen and his wife Eileen Barbuto of Bridgewater, Peter and his wife Kathleen Barbuto of Dorchester, Angela and her late husband Vincent Flaherty of Pembroke, Michael and his wife Debbie Barbuto of Braintree, Mark Barbuto of Lynn, and the late James Barbuto. Rob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte. 53, Hanover, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, on Thursday morning, July 2, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Rob was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired service technician for Eversource for 18 years. He especially enjoyed watching his beloved Boston sports teams and playing golf.
