Robert Wright

Bob was born and raised in Oceanside, New York. In 1964 he enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1968. Bob married Helen (Kehlbeck) and the two settled on Long Island, NY and later Pembroke, MA where they would raise their family.  

Bob enjoyed gardening, fishing, and metal detecting. He was a talented woodworker and he could always be found tinkering and fixing things. Bob also liked spending his time going on road trips and traveling locally throughout the United States. Above all, he most loved spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren.

Bob was the loving husband of Helen A. Wright. Father of Gregg Wright and his wife Vanessa of Dover, MA and Christine Roderiques and her husband Christopher of Columbia, CT. Papa of James, MaKenzie, and Anja. Brother of Elaine Hammon of MI, Boni Meddock of FL, and the late James Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 23rd from 12:00pm-3:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover - 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A funeral home service will be held the following day Monday, February 24th at 12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
