

Ronald J. Walker, 74 of Hanover and formerly of Weymouth, passed away on July 11, 2015. Born on January 22, 1941 in Boston, he was the son of the late Edgar F. and Catherine D. (Foley) Walker. Ronald attended Boston State and earned his Masters of Education from Bridgewater State. He was employed as an elementary school teacher in Boston. He was a member of the Marshfield Elks, former active member of the Executive Board of Boston Teacher's Union, Hanover Democratic Town Committee, and former Marine Reservist. Ronald also enjoyed reading and bowling. Ronald was the beloved husband of Maureen F. (Leonard) Walker. Devoted father of Lawrence C. Walker of Hanover, Matthew E. Walker of Abington, Carolyn M. Brangan and her husband Patrick Jr. of Hanover, and Juliann F. Blew and her husband Nathan of New Fairfield, CT. Brother of the late Geraldine Daly. Cherished grandfather of Cavan and Aevlyn Brangan and Braeden Blew. Ronald is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, HANOVER on Tuesday, July 21st from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover on Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery.
