Ruth E. Connor Sullivan

Mrs. Ruth E. Conner Sullivan 98, of Quincy, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 in the William B. Rice Eventide Home in Quincy. She was born in Hartford, CT on Jan. 4, 1912, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Kelley Conner. She was raised and educated in Dorchester and had lived in Plymouth before moving to Quincy five years ago. Mrs. Sullivan was a former member of the Bonnie Seniors at the St. Bonaventure Church in Manomet. Wife of the late John J. Sullivan, she is survived by one daughter, Helen Shea of Hanover, two sons, John J. Sullivan, Jr. of CA and Paul J. Sullivan of AZ, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Stephen Conner, John Conner, James Conner, Raymond Conner, Paul Conner, Mae Conner, Lillian Hatch, and Frances Bohmbach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte. 139 in Hanover. A visiting hour will be on Monday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53 in HANOVER. Interment will be on Tuesday for Family in the Manomet Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the William B. Rice Eventide Home, 215 Adams St., Quincy, MA 02169.
