Sara K. Finocchiaro

Sara K. (Kelley) Finocchiaro, 56 of Duxbury, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2017. Born on July 18, 1960 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert Warren and Barbara Ann (Barry) Kelley. Sara was a standout athlete for Hanover High School, graduating with the Class of 1978 and Boston College Class of 1983. She was an avid skier and fan of all 4 Boston Sports Teams. She enjoyed working, the beach, her mother-in-laws eggplant and loved people and animals. Sara always put everyone else first.

Sara is survived by her beloved husband Edward Finocchiaro. Devoted mother of Katherine A. Finocchiaro of Braintree and Robert E. Finocchiaro of Duxbury. Dear sister of Robert E. Kelley and his wife Wendy of Milton, Andrea W. Harding and her husband James of Lexington, Paula M. McNamara and her husband Patrick of Ridgefield, CT, and Katherine E. Detmer of San Antonio, TX. Sara also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, her dog Ruby and cat Smokey.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover on Monday, June 12th from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann By The Sea, 591 Ocean St, Marshfield, on Tuesday at 11 AM followed by a burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
