Steven M. Moore

Steven M. Moore, of Hanover formerly of Falmouth died May 7. Born in Cambridge, Steve was raised in Falmouth and a graduate of Falmouth High School and the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. He is survived by his mother Jean Barnard Moore of East Falmouth and was predeceased by his father Arthur Moore. Steve worked for many years in building materials sales including J.H. McNamara Concrete. Most recently he worked as a self-employed contractor. Steve enjoyed the camaraderie of neighborhood and family building projects. His true joy in life came in spending time with his family and friends boating, traveling and cheering on his son's sports teams. Steve will be sadly missed. Steve leaves his devoted wife, Sue Booth Moore, loving son Jason S. Moore, caring brother to Arthur E. Moore III of Milan, Italy, Susan Moore of Pembroke, and Patty O'Reilly and her husband John also of Pembroke. He was the brother of the late Gary Moore. Special uncle to Steven and Kevin O'Reilly, Elliot Moore, Steven Tasho and Matt, Kevin, Rachel and Emily Booth. Brother in law of Richie Booth and his wife Debbie and Barbara Tasho and her husband Steve. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in Hanover on Friday from 4-8PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. After the funeral, the family would like to invite family and friends to continue the celebration of Steven's life at the Rockland Country Club, 276 Plain St., Rockland. Interment will be private.
