Thomas F. Boyd

Thomas Francis Boyd, 80 of Halifax, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020, with his family by his side. Born on June 6, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Nicholson) Boyd. Thomas enjoyed gardening, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. He volunteered his time and was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.  He graduated from Stonehill College and proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Thomas worked for the United States Postal Service for 40 years.

Thomas was the beloved husband to Lois S. (Petruzzelli) Boyd of Halifax and the devoted father to their children Theresa M. Kefalas and her husband John of Mansfield, Thomas W. Boyd, and his wife Melissa of Middleboro, Brian A. Boyd and his wife Jamie of Halifax, and the late Karen E. Boyd. He was the loving brother of Margaret Boyd of Jamaica Plain and Joan Piscitelli of Dedham. Thomas was also the cherished grandfather of George, Isabella, Chloe, Gregory, Alexis, Lillian, and Shelby, and several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
