

Born on January 16, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Vera Sams Williams and the late Arthur R. Williams.
In addition to his parents, Willard is preceded in death by his brother Michael Sams Williams and his wife Judith Berry Williams.
Willard is survived by his sister Wendy E. Williams, daughter Rebecca J. Williams; his nephews Ian M. Hirshlor and Travis W. Hirshlor, and his granddaughter Margot F. More.
Willard was a proud US Marine Corps veteran who served two tours in the Vietnam War as a combat engineer. Upon returning from war, he continued to serve the community as a parole officer. He went on to become a compliance officer in the commodities market. He had a keen interest in American history. He was an avid reader, loved great food, had a great sense of humor and was passionate about sports.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 3-6:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanson - 2 Maquan St., corner of Routes 14 and 58. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 14th at 11:00am. Family and friends should meet at Sullivan Funeral Home at 10:15AM for the procession to Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) organization.
