Marsha A. Holt (Donovan) of Pembroke, age 81, formerly of Abington, died on October 23, 2026. Beloved wife of the late William Holt, Jr. for 54 years.Marsha was born on March 19, 1945 to the late Joseph C. Donovan and Dorothy A. Donovan (Thibeault). Marsha graduated from Abington High School in 1963. Marsha met Bill they married and started their family and settled in Pembroke, MA. For many years Marsha was a teachers assistant with the Pilgrim Area Collaborative, working in numerous schools throughout the South Shore changing and enriching many young students lives. Marsha loved living in Pembroke where she made many friends and could always be found working any polling station in Pembroke.
Marsha was a devoted mother to Sean Holt and his wife Stacey of Kingston,Timothy Holt and his wife Kathy of Raynham. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Mackenzie Rian and Sean Patrick Holt, Jr, of Kingston,Matthew, Connor, Meaghan of Raynham and Courtney Kearney. Marsha was predeceased by her brother, the late Robert Donovan. Marsha was the loving sister in law toRichard B. Holt and his wife Sarah of Newbury, NH. Marsha was know to her grandchildren as Mimi, a role she adored. She will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be Friday October 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Hanover (Rte 53). A funeral service will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home immediately following. Interment will be at the Pembroke Center Cemetery.
