Born on July 5, 1964, she was the beloved daughter of Eleanor and John Walsh and was raised in Quincy. Patricia was the loving wife of James McMahon, and mother to 2 boys, Michael and John. She was also the dear sister of Michael, Robert, Sean, and Thomas Walsh, and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia left behind her finance career to be a stay-at-home Mom for most of her sons’ childhood. Although she wasn’t quite the runner herself, she was a big fan of Pembroke Cross Country and Track and Field, where she was always found on the sidelines cheering on her boys. She loved taking trips with her husband and sons across New England.
Patricia loved her friends, family, and faith most in life. She loved to talk – calling her sons daily (often with grocery lists and reminding them to clean their apartments) and she’d talk the ear off the nurses taking care of her in the hospital. You could always expect a phone call to ask about work, if you’d eaten, and if you’d need anything the next time you visit home. Those calls are just one of the many things her loved ones will miss.
Patricia will be remembered for her compassion, kindness and quick-wit. Her spirit will live on in everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
