Aaron Taylor Butler Jr., 85, passed away on August 11, 2025 at The Cedars of Leo. He was born on June 22, 1940 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, a son of the late Aaron T. Butler Sr. and Lelia Ross Butler.
He worked at International Harvester until his retirement and was actively involved in the union after retirement as well. He enjoyed the camaraderie he shared with other retirees. Aaron was also a long time member of Grabill Missionary Church, where he enjoyed participating in the Men's Breakfast. He will be remembered as being an avid collector of everything.
He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Tim Olsen) Butler, Kara (Frank) Pulver, Jacquelyn (Jeffery) Holcomb, Angela (Floyd) Stilson, and Nikki (Vincent) Davis; son, Charles (Terri) Kemerley Sr.; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karon Wagner Butler; grandson, Aaron Holcomb; sister, Lois Edwards; and step-sister, Betty Humphrey.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State St, Grabill, IN 46741, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Allen Schlatter officiating. Burial will take place in Leo Memorial Park. Memorials to The Cedars or Grabill Missionary Church.
