Barbara M. Fuelling, 92, of Woodburn, died Thursday, November 3, 2022. Barbara was born August 20, 1930, to William and Ingeborg (Petersen) Nelms in Waukegan, Illinois, and married Gene Fuelling on January 11, 1950. Barbara was a loving farmer’s wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Harlan Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa (Jim) Brown of Harlan, Christine Johnson of Tuscola, IL, Elaine Greiner of St. Louis, MO, Joy (Rocky) Brown of Medicine Lodge, KS, Sara (Dan) Deimer of Woodburn, and Teresa (Todd) Johnson of Harlan; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters Wilma (Paul) Earnhart, Marcia (John) Vincent, and sister-in-law, Janet Nelms. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gene, her parents, stepfather Clyde Hickman, brothers: Jim, Bill, and Edward Nelms and son-in-law Tim Johnson.
