DANIEL J. STUTZMAN, 85, of Harlan, died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Bethlehem Woods Rehabilitation Center. Born Sept. 6, 1926, in Arthur, Ill., he was a retired carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Lucille; children, Joann (Ray) Krider, Judy (Jerry) Wilson, Dean (Linda) Stutzman, Gladys Morrissey, Laura (Terry) Cooper, Treva (Karl) Boericke, DeWayne (Julie) Stutzman, Cheryl (Steve) Roy, and Arlene Stutzman; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Stutzman; and brothers, Henry Stutzman and John Stutzman. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Sunrise Chapel, Harlan. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the church. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home. Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill.
