
EMMA SCHMUCKER, 81, of Grabill, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of Old Order Amish. Born Sept. 1, 1932, in Allen County, she was a daughter of the late Amos Schwartz and Sylvia (Graber) Schwartz. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, David E. Schmucker of Grabill; sons, David (Naomi) Schmucker of Grabill, John (Verna) Schmucker of Hicksville, Ohio and Joe (Becky) Schmucker of Grabill; daughters, Rose Mary (Louis) Schmucker of New Haven, Susie (Leroy) Schmucker of Woodburn, Darlene (Tom) Schmucker of Fort Wayne, Mandy (Lester) Schmucker of Grabill, Emma (David) Lengacher of Harlan, Malinda (Mathew) Graber of Grabill, and Margret (Noah) Schmucker of Woodburn; 38 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Schwartz of Michigan and Johnny Schwartz of Topeka; and sisters, Delila Steury of Angola, Mary Brandenberger of Grabill, Rosie Yoder of Kentucky, Viola Schwartz of Grabill, and Malinda Schwartz of New Haven. Funeral service is 9 a.m. Saturday at the David E. Schmucker residence, 12434 Page Road, Grabill (IN 46741), where visitation will be all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday until time of service.
