John F. "Jack" Pufpaff, 82, of Harlan passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. John was born on September 4, 1940 in Buffalo, New York, a son of the late John Henry and Lorraine (Schmidt) Pufpaff. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at and retired from General Motors after 46 years. He was a member at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and enjoyed jazz. Surviving family include his wife, Carol Jones-Pufpaff; daughters, Sheila (Roger) Worthington and Tammy Pufpaff; three grandchildren; and a brother, Ed Pufpaff. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by a brother, Tom Pufpaff. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne in the Bohn Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
