Kathryn Gustin, 90, of rural Grabill, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026. She was born on July 1, 1936, a daughter of the late James and Violet Evelyn (White) Johnson. She graduated from Harlan High School, Harlan, Indiana. She worked at and retired from Parkview Hospital as a cook. She was a member at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Auburn and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Harlan.
Surviving family include her children, Michael "Mick" Gustin and Jacqueline (Gregory) Myers; grandchildren, Gregory (Rocio) Myers, Jr. and Emily (Luke) Rivir; great grandchildren, Olivia, Gregory III, Emilia, Lillia, Enrique, Henry, Violet, and Hazel; and a brother, Gilbert Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 211 West 9th Street, Auburn, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Visitation will also be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan. Kathryn's final resting place will be at Scipio Cemetery, rural Harlan.
