Loretta A. Sickafus Dean

LORETTA A. DEAN, 77, of Leo, died on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1935, in Allen County, she was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald G.; daughters, Patricia (Roger) Apple of Indianapolis and Julia Gaff of Albion; sons, Steven Dean of Harlan and Donald G. (Sara) Dean II of Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan. Pastor Kevin Boyd officiating. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Ramp Building Fund at Turnstone Center for Disabled Children & Adults.
