Marilyn L. Waters, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. She was born on May 10, 1946 in Alma, Michigan, a daughter of the late Dorse E. and Margaret (Cook) Jones. She worked as a high school teacher and most recently at the United Brethren Headquarters at Huntington College. She attended Woodburn Missionary Church. Surviving family include her daughter, Sheri Waters; son, Scott (Katrina) Waters; grandchildren, Jayden, Emma, Rachel, and Jake Waters; and brothers, Francis (Patty) Jones and Howard (Jan) Jones. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan with visitation one hour prior.
