Samuel D. Miller, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Laurels of Dekalb in Butler. He was born in Allen County to the late Daniel and Lavina (Langacher) Miller on November 3, 1934. He is survived by his children, Carol Singleton, Susan (Michael) Ricker, Mary (Jason) Poinsett, Donald Miller, and Joseph (Sharon) Miller; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Christner and Fannie (Amos) Christner; and brothers, James (Mary Jo) Miller and Daniel (Emma) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Miller; grandsons, Ethan and Justin; sisters, Margaret Schwartz, Leah Wickey, and Mariann Schwartz; and brothers, Ora Miller and Jerome Miller. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan. Calling will be two hours before the service.
