

Born on October 6, 1957, Thomas was the beloved son of the late Willard and Mary Warfel.
He was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. In his spare time, Thomas was a passionate Mopar restorationist who took great pride in bringing classic cars back to life. He also dedicated many meaningful years as a youth baseball coach with the Harlan Park Baseball Association, where he mentored and inspired countless young athletes.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cynthia Warfel, in 2017, and by his son, Matthew Warfel.
He is survived by his children: Joshua (Jennifer) Warfel, Alicia (Larry Glynn) Warfel, and Jacob Warfel; his daughter-in-law, Britney Warfel; and his cherished grandchildren: Miles, Olivia, Isaiah, Caydance, Felix, Owen, Jena, and Bryson.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 IN-37, Harlan, Indiana 46743, with visitation two hours prior from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Scipio Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
