VERA L. THOMPSON, 78, of Woodburn, died on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Payne, Ohio. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Howard; children, Mitchel (Vicki) Thompson of Harlan, Keith Thompson of Delta, Ohio and Tammy (Tom) Jahns of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren; brother, Richard (Diana) Larimore of Payne, Ohio; and sister, Carolyn (Vern) Laukhuf of Antwerp, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Thompson; and brother, Dan Larimore. Funeral service is noon Friday, March 2, 2012, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan, with calling one hour prior.
