Wanda Walters

Wanda Walters, 76, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1946 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Winfred and Mildred (Myers) Smith, Jr. She worked at and retired from UTA/Sheller-Globe. She also worked at Service Merchandise where she was Diamond certified. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, drag racing, water skiing, camping, and especially spending time with her family. Surviving family include her children, Tania Walters, Anita (Adam) Neeley, Toby (Judy Williamson) Walters, and Jennifer (Justin) Reddin; 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; brothers, Jeffery and Herbert Smith; many nieces and nephews; and fur baby, Buddy Bear. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband and lifelong companion, Earl Walters; great granddaughter, Adelynn Carter; and brother, Rodney Smith. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Harlan Memorial Cemetery, Harlan.
