Carlos Antonio Vasquez Jr.

Carlos A. Vasquez Jr., 12, went to be with the lord on May 8, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 11, 2005 in Harlingen, Texas t Carlos and Paula Vasquez.

He was very well known. He attended Gutierrez Middle School and participated in band. Anthony was also a member of the Wilson Boys & Girls Club. Anthony was very active in sports. He loved to play basketball with family and friends and especially his older brother Michael. Anthony loved to watch his favorite basketball team The Golden State Warriors.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Leonor Vasquez and baby sister Briana Vasquez.

He is survived by his parents; Carlos and Paula Vasquez. Brothers; Michael Vasquez and Wyatte A. Vasquez, sisters, Clarrisa Vasquez and Mia Vasquez. Grandparents; Arturo and Rosa Angulo and Jose Vasquez.

Anthony is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be held, Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Del Angel Funeral home with a prayer service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Father, Carlos Vasquez, brother, Michael C. Vasquez, Uncles, Daniel S. Angulo and Michael Vasquez, cousins, Jose D. Arriasola, Jaslynn Aceves and Tristen Angulo, friends, James Puente and Mephis Rodriguez.
