Concepcion O Elizarde

Concepcion Elizarde, 90, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Mrs. Elizarde was an active member of the Guadalupanas and a member of the San Felipe Choir. She enjoyed traveling with fellow Guadalupanas to visit ancient shrines and churches throughout Mexico. She was an Avon Representative for over 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Maria Elizarde, Jr., and her daughters, Maria Concepcion Elizarde Cisneros, and Maria Ignacia Elizarde.

She is survived by her sons, Jose Maria Elizarde, III (Jean), Ruben Elizarde (Karla), Ricardo Roel Elizarde (Luz), and her daughter, Maria Margarita Elizarde. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John Elizarde, Richard Elizarde, Joey Elizarde, IV, Jesse Elizarde, Jordan Elizarde, Emily Elizarde Medina, Crisanne Elizarde Alvarez, Ricky Elizarde, Clarissa Rodriguez, Stevie Rodriguez, and Maria Concepcion Rodriguez. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Richie Elizarde, Joey Elizarde,V, Samantha Jean Elizarde, Danica Elizarde, Braden Elizarde, and Trinity Elizarde Medina.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: John Elizarde, Richard Elizarde, Joey Elizarde, IV, Jordan Elizarde, Adan Alvarez, and Stevie Rodriguez.
