Dilia Silva

She was a woman filled with love and kindness. Her smile always brightened up a room. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Dilia was the fourth child of David T. Silva(+) and Tomasa V. Silva(+). She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maria Tomasa S. Garcia; and her in-law, Santos Salinas, Maria Silva, Lydia S. Huerta, Nelda S. Cantrell, and Alfredo Silva.

Left to cherish her best memories are her husband, Andres G. Silva, Jr.; her siblings, David (Consuelo) Silva, Jr., Daniel (Olga) Silva, Delia S. (Reynaldo) Gonzalez, Dionicio (Maria Elena) Silva, Delfina (Victor) Rodriguez, Dimas Silva, Diego Silva, Diana (Romeo) Benavides; her in-laws, Enrique (Alma) Silva, Lucia S. (Alberto) Gallegos, Sara Salinas, and Sandra (George) Curren. She also shared many hugs and kisses with her 59 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, beginning at 10 a.m., and will continue until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel. Mass of Resurrection will be held at on Tuesday, February 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
