He was preceded in death by his wife: Ernestina P. Guerrero, parents: Francisco and Josefina Guerrero, brothers: Fructoso Guerrero and Jorge Guerrero.

He is survived by his daughters; Maria Esther Reyna of Los Angeles, Ca, Adela Contreras of Reynosa, Mx, and Victoria Contreras of Harlingen, Tx., a son, Antonio Contreras of Los Angeles, Ca.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, siblings: Guadalupe Guerrero, Olivia Gonzalez, Maria Garza, and Juanita Perez.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas.
