She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Arellano and Aurora Hurtado; six sisters, Chelo, Luz, Trini, Aurora and her husband, Julian Trevino. She is survived by her sister, Elena Herrera, numerous nephews and nieces
Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, July 7, 2015, beginning at 6 p.m. and will continue until 9 p.m., with recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Harlingen on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11 a.m., interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas.
