Juana B. Davila

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregoria and Jose Angel Bazaldua; brothers, Baldemar Bazaldua and Jose Luis Bazaldua; and a nephew, Ruben Bazaldua. Mrs. Davila is survived by her husband of 29 years, Guadalupe Davila; brothers, Tomas (Lucila) Bazaldua, and David (Concepcion) Bazaldua ; sisters, Angelita Bazaldua Guerrero and Margarita Bazaldua Lopez.

She was born in La Carrera, Linares, Nuevo Leon and resided in Harlingen since 1972. Juana did not bare any children of her own, but she is survived by many nieces and nephews who proudly embraced her as their second mom. She was known to all other relatives and friends as “Tia Juana”. The family would like to thank the staff at Retama Nursing Home in Harlingen for their dedicated care.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. A chapel service will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park LaFeria, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Andrew Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Thomas Anciso, Jacob Anciso, Manuel Davila, and Alvaro Davila. Honorary pallbearers are David and Marcus Plata.
