Matilde Monsivais

“She watches over the affairs of her household

and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children arise and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her.”

She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Monsivais.

She is survived by her six children, Enedelia Monsivais of Harlingen, Texas, Eudelia (Pilo) Letting (Albert) of Houston, Texas, Elia Grimes (John) of Harlingen, Texas, Sixto Monsivais of Harlingen, Texas, Evangelia (Eva) de la Rosa of Harlingen, Texas, and Ernestina (Nina) Alvarez (Alberto) of Aransas Pass. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be today Friday, March 30, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Harlingen, Texas followed by a Chapel service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
