Pauline Furns

Pauline Rico Furns, Age 81 passed on 04/6/2017 at Metropolitain Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by family and friends. Pauline was born in Hondo, Texas to Victor M. Rico and Paula M. Rico. She resided in Harlingen, Texas. She was the 16th of 18 children. Pauline was a Nun of the Sacred Heart Convent in San Antonio, Texas for 25+ years. She married Richard Furns in Denver, Colorado. Pauline was devoted to her catholic faith, she loved life,She loved her family, She loved to laugh, She loved to dance, She loved music, She loved to pray for everyone and anyone. She was our darling Tia Pauline, Forever in our hearts. She is survived by 2 sisters; Maria Morales from Oregon and Sophie Pardou from North Dakota, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and she loved each and every one in a very special way. The viewing of the body will be on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm in Del Angel funeral home in Harlingen, Texas. The mass will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas. Meet at the church at 10:00am. No procession from funeral home to church. The burial will be at Buena Vista Cemetery in Brownsville, Texas at 12:30pm (Brownsville is about 25 miles south of Harlingen).
