

He was born March 12, 1965, in Wilkes County and was the son of the late Spencer Jennings and the late Shirley Randleman Jennings Caudle. He was employed with Lowe’s Distribution Center and was a member of the Union Grove VFD for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, McKenzie and Braylee, camping, cooking, grilling and carp fishing.
He is survived by his fiancé, Tina Keatley of the home; two sons, Joey Ireland (Rosse) and Brandon Jennings (Christina); a daughter, Kayla Jennings (DJ) all of Union Grove; the mother of his children, Sandy Ireland Jennings of Union Grove; two step-sons, David Clark (Anna) of Rhodhiss and Dusty Weaver of Harmony; two special grandchildren, McKenzie Jennings and Braylee Dobson; six step-grandchildren, Alex, Dakota, Chloe, Izzy, Lexie, and Katy; two sisters, Elaine Colbert (Sammy) of Harmony and Frankie Hefner (Brian) of Salisbury; a special friend, Stacy Smith and her son, Christopher Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service celebrating Bobby’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2013, at Old Fashion Gospel Baptist Church in Hamptonville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Joey Ireland, Brandon Jennings, DJ Dobson, Sammy Colbert, David Clark, Dusty Weaver, Josh Sweet, Brandon Feimster, and Alex Higgins will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM today (Thursday, February 7) in the Ernest Troutman Memorial Chapel of Reavis Funeral Home in Harmony.
