Brandon Lee Byrd

He was born July 27, 1983, in Statesville and was the son of Doris Ann Ladd. He was an auto body shop technician and a graduate of the North Iredell High School Class of 2001 where he played basketball. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Ann Ladd, of Olin; a sister, Jennifer Byrd and her fiancé, Josh Cook; a niece, Jayda Cook, all of Harmony; a brother, D.J. Byrd; two half-brothers, Tyler and Cody Byrd; maternal grandmother, Brenda Hager of Harmony; aunts, Blenda Plummer of Moncure, NC, and Bonnie (Billy) Wilhelm of Claremont; cousins, Josh Plummer, D.J. Dobson, and Casandra Dobson and her children, Jaydee, Caden and Kameron.

Service celebrating Brandon’s life will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in the Ernest Troutman Memorial Chapel at Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family will speak friends immediately following the service.
