You may not remember me; I taught Health/PE at North Middle for many years. I was fortunate enough to teach both Mark & Janet. And, I considered it a privilege to work with Dwight for several of those years. His kindness, congeniality, and helpfulness meant a lot to me. I was so sad to be out of town when I learned of his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences and give my love to Mark & Janet.

I am so sorry to hear of Dwight's passing. I enjoyed Dwight's company while living in Charlotte. We were at the Valentine's banquet together when you two met. I hope things are well with you and the family now. I pray for God's peace and love to cover you in this time.

Juanita and family, I was saddened to hear of Dwight's passing. I always enjoyed talking to Dwight and he was a good friend and co-worker to me while he was at North Iredell Middle School. I know our son, Reuben, enjoyed working with Dwight and the landscaping crew over the summer while he was in college. I always thought of him as a compassion and caring individual who enjoyed life and laughing with his friends. Lifting you and your family up in my prayers and praying for God's peace and comfort for you all.

My prayers go out to Dwights family. I met him in the late 1960's when he and other NC Highway Patrol would stop in at my Dad's dealership, Larry Smith Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC. He was a very nice person and so polite. A true Southern Gentleman. May our Savior, Jesus Christ give you peace and comfort during this time of lose and pain in your heart.
