Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Johnson

She was born June 13, 1941, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Charlie Paul and Stella Mae Parker Riddle. She was a retired knitter in the textile industry and a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her husband, Lawrence G. Johnson, whom she married on December 17, 1977; a daughter, Angela Marie Willis of Harmony; a sister, Mildred Parks; five brothers, Charles Riddle, Hoyle Riddle, Johnny Riddle, Larry Riddle, and Jason Riddle.

Funeral services celebrating Mary’s life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 3, 2010, in the Ernest Troutman Memorial Chapel at Reavis Funeral Home in Harmony with the Rev. Tom Corbell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 to 10:30 AM Friday prior to the service.

Private burial will follow at the residence.
