Mary Lee Brotherton Stroud

Born September 24, 1932 in Iredell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Brotherton and Mattie Belle Stevenston Brotherton.

She graduated Harmony High School and was a secretary for the Iredell County Health Department. She also worked as a cashier with Pantry and was secretary/treasurer for Health Services Unlimited.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Luther Dorman Stroud in 1990.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sonya Moore (Don) and Allyson Stroud, all of Statesville; grandchildren, Carrie Nines (Ronnie) and Ryanne Leigh Moore; and brothers, Bill Brotherton and Ray Brotherton.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Ernest M. Troutman Memorial Chapel in Harmony with the family receiving friends one hour prior.
