Rachel Louise Bell Lambert

She was born September 1, 1940, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Mott McKinnley and Nora Anderson Bell. She was a member of Grassy Knob Baptist Church and retired from Hunt Manufacturing Company.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on August 4, 2006, by her husband, Archie Lee Lambert; a son, Perry Lambert; a sister, Stella Mae York; and a brother, Roy Bell.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Smith of High Point; two sisters, Betty Myers of Taylorsville and Nellie McCann of Union Grove; a grandson, Joshua (Holly) Smith of Randleman; a great-granddaughter, Graceleigh Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services celebrating Mrs. Lambert's life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2013, at Grassy Knob Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. William Souther and the Rev. Randy Goodin officiating.

The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 PM Sunday at Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony.
