Ruth was a mother in Isreal, her heart concern and selflessness for others but it was governed by her love for the One above. She was a special person in my life as well. Heaven will be a day of rewards for her. love Alice (Christopher) Murphy

I was so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Even though I only worked with her a short time at West Yadkin, she made such an impression on me. What a wonderful person and teacher. It was easy to see how much she loved her students and was dedicated to teaching and being like a mother to them. I'm so glad I ran in to all of you not too long ago at Bojangles in Jonesville. It was good to see her and speak with her again. God's blessings to all of you.

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. She was one of my favorite teachers at West Yadkin. Proverbs 31:26 is a scripture that I feel fits her well. "She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness." Both of your parents were wonderful influences on a lot of students at West Yadkin. Her body is now healed, and Heaven is a whole lot sweeter today! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I remember the loving countenance on Ruth's face whenever we would be together at meetings and the joy she had in fellowship with the Lord and her friends. May you all be finding comfort at this time of loss.
