

Albert A. Masi of Harrisburg, PA passed away on January 21st, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born in Youngstown, OH on October 24, 1944, the son of the late James and Anna (Shipka) Masi. He is survived by Marian, his wife of 58 years, sons Mark and Scott, and grandchildren Kevin, Peyton, and Stella. His sister, Frances, resides in Campbell, OH. His brother, James, resides with his family in Lexington, NC. Al graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH, with a degree in Political Science. He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant from 1966-1970. He was employed for 25 years by the PA Dept of Environmental Protection and retired as Division Chief in the Bureau of Office Services. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Flyers. He enjoyed vacationing with his family in Cape May, NJ, and greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite pastime was daily walks with their sheltie, Misty Rose, a therapy dog with the Caring Hearts pet therapy program.
Al was a kind and loving man to his family and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA on February 6th at Noon. Friends may visit with the family prior to Mass starting at 11 AM in the narthex of the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Caring Hearts Pet Therapy. P. O.
