He was the son of Sharon Washington Anderson and Alfred James Anderson Jr.
Alfred was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and was employed by the City of Harrisburg and Golden Living.
He attended Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and listening to music.
In addition to his parents, Alfred is survived by his three children, Tayvon Williams, Christian Anderson and Tyler Anderson; and stepson, Richard Anderson; his companion, Joann Lewis; also survived by his stepfather, Eric Gale; a sister, Kim Washington; 8 brothers; 4 aunts; 3 uncles and a host of other relations.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., Harrisburg, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
