In the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by his children, Anthony W. Frey peacefully completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, and is now with our loving Heavenly Father, and healed from a nearly four year long battle with ALS.
Tony grew up in Harrisburg, PA, and moved to Enola, graduating from East Pennsboro High School in 1971. Following high school, Tony began his career with the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. While working there, he enrolled in Penn State, graduating with a degree in Business Management. He continued working for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation; which later became Arcellor Mittal, eventually working his way to the Director of Sales, North America.
Although Tony loved his career, his true love in life was his wife, Connie. He would gladly tell anyone that she was his greatest achievement. After 40 years together, three children, and three homes, Tony and Connie moved from their dream home in Florida to be closer to their children in Las Vegas. Tony’s first priority was always family and he wanted to live close and create lasting memories.
In addition to his loving wife, Connie, Tony is survived by his children, Alana Teglia (Sean), William Frey (Samantha), and Father William Frey; his grandchildren, Madelyn Morrissey, Ava and Leo Teglia, and Vincent Frey; and his sister, Kristine Potteiger (Thomas). He was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Dorothy Frey, and his eldest son, Gregory Morrissey, Jr.
Tony touched many along his way and left permanent impacts on their lives for the better. He was a man of many qualities, but bravery and strength stood out most. His soul was beautiful and warm and he had a way of spreading love through his wisdom and generosity. He will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 am, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. A luncheon will follow from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, at the Harrisburg Country Club, 401 Fishing Creek Valley Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his honor to the ALS Foundations, Nevada Chapter, 3191 E. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89120.
