Arch Paul Werner

Arch P. Werner, 85, passed away in his Harrisburg, Pennsylvania home on Monday, May 20, 2024. The son of Archie and Dorothy Werner, Arch was born on February 5, 1939 and grew up in Harrisburg along with his brother Joe and sisters Sue and Jan. Married over 60 years to Marianne (Willis) whom he met at John Harris High School, Arch owned his own insurance business for over 30 years achieving agent of the year multiple times.

Arch had a true love for sports, spending lots of time on the football and baseball fields cheering on his sons and grandkids. His beloved sponsored Werner Insurance baseball team was a great source of pride and joy. He also enjoyed giving advice and trying to fix things. He especially loved his grand and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne, two sons, A. Paul Werner (Lauri) of Harrisburg and Matthew Werner (Karen) of Caswell Beach, NC, three grandchildren, Leah Owens (Joseph), Alec Werner (Emily), and Grant Werner, and two great grandchildren Adele and Joseph Owens.

Private services will be held for the family to celebrate Arch’s life.
