Blanche L. Henson

Blanche L. Henson, 88, passed away at home on Saturday, December 31, 2011, in Harrisburg. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on November 26, 1923. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond D. Henson Sr. and her oldest son Raymond D. Henson Jr.

Blanche is survived by 2 sisters, Virginia Birch, of Los Angeles, CA and Mae Canfield, of Stephens City, VA; a daughter, Sandra Miller, wife of Miles, of Marysville, a son, Nicholas, and his wife, Karen E. Kroh, of Camp Hill; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Henson, of Townsend MA; 8 grandchildren, Raymond J. Henson, Jonathan A. Henson, Andrew N. Henson, Sandra M. Miller, Theresa L. Crow, Diane L. Schmidt, Nicole L. Alger and Alec K. Henson; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January, 6, 2012 at 11:00a.m. in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg with a viewing at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Pheasant Hill Estates Social Fund, c/o Laura Womer, 4400 Pheasant Hill Road, Harrisburg, PA.
