I just found about Carl's passing. Our families were close when growing up, and we had many good times together. He was always happy and upbeat. My deepest sympathies to his children, and to his brother.

Ken and I were so lucky to have Carl for a brother-in-law. When Ken had his heart attack, I was working in Georgia. I was so worried that Ken would be alone in ICU. Carl went to the hospital as soon as he heard. He told the nurses that he was Ken's brother so they'd let him in the ICU. Ken could hear his voice, but he couldn't see him. Ken always said it was very comforting to hear Carl's voice.

Family meant everything to Carl. I know my family will miss him.
