Catherine Romaine Benner

Born on February 19, 1953 in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Herbert D. and Hazel R. (Snyder) Benner Sr.; and preceded in death by two brothers, Charles D. Benner Sr. and Wayne G. Benner; and sister, Sallie L. Parks.

She is survived by her husband, Frank T. Comer, of Harrisburg; daughter, Cathy Jo Skinner (Will), of Harrisburg; two sons, Daniel D. Benner (Alexis), of York and Frank T. Benner (Cristina), of Harrisburg; three step-daughters, Kristie Shank (Brian), of Hummelstown, Kandy Comer, of New Cumberland and Kimberly Watts, of Etters; three brothers, Herbert D. Benner Jr., of Shermansdale, Terry E. Benner (Lisa), of Halifax and Gary R. Benner (Stephanie), of Summerdale; twenty grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Catherine enjoyed the outdoors, her houseplants and flowers. She loved spending time with her family and so enjoyed all the children, they always put a smile on her face.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Paxtang Cemetery, 490 N. Paxtang Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
