Catherine F. Leo

Catherine F. Leo, 98, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. She died peacefully during her sleep. Catherine was the widow of Alfred Leo, who died in 1985, and is preceded in death by her four sisters, Carmella Decker, Mary Gould, Sara Breski and Lena Russo; and one brother, Anthony Russo. Catherine is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Bauer, husband, William and Catherine Kushner, husband, Michael; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Catherine was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society and she volunteered at the Food Pantry. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2022, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Following the service, burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM, Friday, until the time of the service at the church.
