Born November 17, 1929, in Deer Born, MI, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Mary M. (Johns) Johns.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (Gerhardt) Johns, and his brother, Joel K. Johns.
Charles was a retired Chief of Bureau of Design for PennDot, with many years of service, a Veteran of the PA Army National Guard, and a Trustee for the William Penn Association. He was a member of the Perseverance Lodge 21 F&AM, Harrisburg Elks Lodge 2257, the Harrisburg Lions Club, and the Verhovay Home Association.
