Christopher Mark Anderson, 28, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday March 27 2019 at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Chris was born February 20, 1991 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. A 2009 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, he went on to earn a BA in Psychology from Millersville University in 2017. He held many positions within the Hershey Entertainment Company, most recently with the Finance department. Chris was an avid gamer, animal lover, foodie, and enjoyed personal fitness. His unique sense of humor and boundless compassion for others will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Erin Anderson, of Harrisburg and his father Mark Anderson, also of Harrisburg; a sister, Megan (Nicole) DiCriscio, of Greensburg; two brothers, Jeremy and Trevor Anderson, of Harrisburg; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Mary “Peggy” Mackrell, of Harrisburg, and paternal grandparents, Phillip and Barbara Anderson, of Harrisburg. Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 pm Friday, April 5, 2019 in the Neill Funeral Home, 5301 Derry St. Harrisburg, with service and interment immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
