

Clarence V. Moser, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 22, 1941 in Phoenix Park, PA; he was the son of the late Clarence L. and Magdalen (King), and step mother, Doris (Doyle) Moser. He was a retired accounting supervisor for the US Postal Service, Harrisburg; a former bus driver for Central Dauphin School District and a former employee for the PA Department of Labor and Industry. He volunteered for AARP Tax Aide service and served as treasurer for NARFE. As a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, he served as a Eucharistic Minister and parish volunteer. Clarence was a remarkable listener and friend to many. Adored by his family, he spent many hours in his pool teaching grandkids to swim, taking trips to Knoebels, camping, gardening and landscaping. He possessed a unique sense of humor, and was an amazing gentleman who touched more lives than he ever realized. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Sarah "Sally" (Frank) Moser; 5 daughters, Michele M. Mutch (Steve Yeagy), of Harrisburg; Laura A. Moser, of Loysville, Jennifer L. Roberts (Lenny), MaryBeth Darrah (Jim), and Sarah E. Moser, all of Harrisburg; 8 grandchildren, Rachel Moser, Harrison Mutch, Nicholas Moser, Sydnie Roberts, Nevaeh Roberts, Olivia Roberts, Heather Roberts and Lilli Hummel; 2 great-grandchildren, Grace and Cheyenne; and his brother, William F. Moser (Kitty)and daughter, Sheila, of Harrisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2015 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Derry St., Harrisburg and Saturday 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
