Cynthia "Cyndi" Renae Ivanoff

Born on September 5, 1961 in Harrisburg, to the late Meade E. and Sonja A. (Paluscio) Aungst.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Sinkovitz and John Paluscio; sisters, Maureen Ulrich and Cathy (Aungst) Culhane; her grandson Armani Wanner; and great granddaughter Sadie Renae Trissler.

Surviving Cyndi is her loving husband of 44 years, John Ivanoff; children: Craig Trissler, Sonja Ivanoff (Tony) and Emily Wanner (Micheal); grandchildren, Ava Renae Trissler, Mihai Ivanoff, Parma Ivanoff, Carmine Ivanoff, Micole, Giovanni, Kiera, Mia, Jordan, Graylynn and Harlee and Kyrios Wanner; her great granddaughters Veletta and Arizona Lehman-Ivanoff and Julianna Albright-Ivanoff. She is also survived by her brothers, Meade A. Aungst and Robert C. Aungst; her sisters, JoAnn Small, Michelle Roe and Jayne Farringer; as well as numerous niece, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Cyndi worked as a hair stylist for 30 years. She was a State Champion Knitter, knitting sweaters, socks, blankets and toys comforting so many. She was also an exceptional cook, and an avid fan of PennState and Oklahoma University Football teams. She also enjoyed Disney and Mickey Mouse. John and Cyndi were both happy to visit Disney World in Florida together. Cyndi had a special gift for making everyone feel loved. Cyndi loved her family, especially her grandchildren and was happiest when they were in her company.

A graveside service will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA on July 30, 2025 at 10:00am followed by a Celebration of Cyndi’s life to be held at West Hanover Township Community Center; 628 Walnut Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
