He was a graduate of Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and was employed by the State of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation in Information Technology. He played high school football and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dave enjoyed swimming and spending time at the beach, playing online games with his friends and nephew, cooking and making his own gourmet popcorn for movie nights. He most enjoyed spending time with his pets, especially his beloved dogs.
He is survived by two sisters, Janis of Harrisburg, and Angela (Robert) Herrell of Marysville, one nephew Anthony (Lisa) Linn of Burke, VA, and one niece Abbey (Patrick) Burke of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
